British Airways launches summer schedule
British Airways has launched its biggest ever summer schedule, brining new routes to market and offering more seats than ever before to summer holiday destinations from London’s Gatwick, Heathrow and City airports.
The British Airways summer offers new routes to Austin in Texas, Mykonos and Santorini in Greece, as well as Mediterranean favourites such as Malta, Porto, Malaga and Faro.
Colm Lacy, British Airways’ head of commercial, Gatwick, said: “With more seats to more destinations, summer looks set to be bigger than ever this year with British Airways.”
A choice of far flung and family-friendly destinations can be booked on ba.com, including services from Heathrow to Austin in Texas, five times a week on the airline’s new Boeing 787 Dreamliner
New twice-weekly flights also start from Heathrow to the summer hotspots of Porto, Malaga and Faro as well as new daily services from Gatwick to Malta.

Twice weekly flights start to the popular Greek islands of Mykonos and Santorini, from Heathrow on May 3rd and May 4th respectively.
Meanwhile customers flying from London City can take advantage of new flights starting from March 30th to Rotterdam, five times a week and to Florence, four times a week.
A new three times a week nightly service from Edinburgh to Ibizia will also start on May 23rd and run until September 8th.
