British Airways flight bursts into flames in Las Vegas
A British Airways Boeing 777-200 has caught fire on the ground at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.
Some 172 people were evacuated from the flight through emergency slides, with 13 taken to the nearby Sunrise hospital with minor injuries.
A US Federal Aviation Administration spokesman said the left engine of the plane had caught fire before take-off.
The plane was seen engulfed in and smoke, before fire crews extinguished the blaze.
British Airways Flight 2276 was bound for Gatwick Airport in London.

An investigation into the blaze is now under way.
Officials later said one runway was shut down, but three others continued to operate.
McCarran is a major airport in the US, handling more than 40 million passengers last year.
