Bridging the Gulf: CarTrawler drives into the Middle East

CarTrawler, the leading independent provider of car rental solutions to the world’s airline and travel industry, today announced the addition of Gulf Air, principal flag carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain and one of the longest established carriers in the Middle East.

CarTrawler’s services will now be integrated into all of Gulf Air’s key consumer touch points, enabling the airline to sell real-time inventory from major and local car rental suppliers in the airline’s 45 destinations in 28 countries across Africa, Asia and Europe. The carrier is CarTrawler’s first Mideast partner.

Gulf Air customers will also have access to CarTrawler’s complete stable of 550 independent and branded suppliers in 175 countries around the world.

“Gulf Air now has the opportunity to reach a wider audience of travelers throughout Asia and the Middle East,” said Justin Jones, Manager, Ancillary Products, Gulf Air.

“That exposure will play a key role in helping us reach our goal of becoming one of the top Middle East travel brands in the market,” he continued.
