Whether you are looking to relax and unwind, explore the natural scenery or to enjoy a round of golf, The Oitavos two night package is a perfect weekend escape. The package includes two nights accommodation in a superior room with breakfast for €475 per room.
The contemporary hotel is set amongst sand dunes and pine trees and is adjacent to the award winning Arthur Hills-designed Oitavos Dunes golf course, ranked 88th in the top 100 courses in the world by Golf Magazine. During their stay guests will be able to enjoy numerous dining experiences including a gourmet dining room, a sushi bar, tea lounge and casual restaurant with open air terrace. The full service destination spa, inspired by the ocean, will use natural and organic treatment products and offers a holistic wellness approach. There will be 10 treatment rooms, an indoor and outdoor seawater swimming pool and steam and sauna with views out to the preserved dunes.
In addition, the hotel will feature a state-of-the-art conference centre for up to 300 people; this will have dedicated facilities for groups including a separate check in desk and dining facilities. Set within the family owned Quinta da Marinha Original estate, hotel guests are guaranteed an intimate and intensely private holiday location. The exceptional sporting estate boasts one of Portugal’s leading equestrian centres, a Health and Racket Club and the Oitavos Dunes golf course – one of the world’s top 100 golf courses in GOLF Magazine’s 2009 Top 100 Courses in the World. Commenting on the creation of The Oitavos, Luis Silverio, CEO of Quinta da Marinha Original, says “The Oitavos is a luxury hotel at the pinnacle of contemporary design and innovation, offering a modern outlook of Portugal yet rooted in Portuguese heritage. The hotel is the culmination of the Champalimaud family’s vision, having first purchased the land during the 1920s, and completes this exceptional sporting estate”.
