bmibaby launches low-cost package holiday service

No-frills airline bmibaby has confirmed it will launch a new low-cost package holiday service.

bmibaby holidays will offer a range of holiday packages, including flights, accommodation and optional airport transfers, to the UK and Europe’s most popular city and beach destinations.

The service will be ATOL protected.

There are no debit card fees to pay and holidays can be secured from as little as £100 deposit per person, bmibaby said in a statement earlier.

Julian Carr, managing director at bmibaby closes the deal with Neil Smillie, head of direct operations at Midlands Co-operative Travel

Provided in association with Midlands Co-operative Travel, bmibaby holidays gives customers the chance to build a holiday package including convenient bmibaby flights from East Midlands, Birmingham.Mobi and Belfast City Airport, a range of accommodation options and competitive optional airport transfers.

Julian Carr, managing director at bmibaby, said: “We are well known for our low cost flights and have a loyal following of regular holidaymakers who fly frequently with us.

“It made perfect sense for us to extend our offering and give our customers the chance to book their complete holiday package with us.”

The move follows a similar decision from rival no-frills carrier easyJet, which launched its own low-cost package holiday service – alongside lowcosttravelgroup – earlier this year.
