Blossom set to shine in Japan

Only 4 days in Tokyo, boasting some 180 international and Japanese buyers, Blossom Japan for the first time, welcomes some of the finest luxurious brands, destinations and DMC‘s from all over the world and Japan to come together.

This Japan’s first dedicated luxury travel event (Blossom Japan), will take place in Tokyo from 18-21 January 2011 is set to be the most important event of the business year and a major driver of sales growth for the luxury industry.

The event will commence with a full day conference based on the theme “Possibilities” followed by a three-day exhibition at the Tokyo International Forum, centrally located in Ginza. Social events are planned each night to facilitate further networking opportunities for everyone. And finally one free day in Tokyo is also included in the package to allow all participants to experience the best that Tokyo and surrounding regions have to offer.

As the Blossom Japan sales team winds down, our event and buyer teams are overtaking the sales with the launch of iEvent; the online system that will facilitate the pre-scheduled appointments system, allowing all participants to conduct serious business on site.

With traditions set so deep, the Japanese culture stretches out to very essence of the daily lives & into business practices that are so different from the rest of the world. With the support of the Japan Tourism Agency and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Blossom Japan, will enter this tough, but highly lucrative market to create access on how we do business in Japan but also to set a precedent across the world.

To kick off this inaugural event, Blossom Japan has had fantastic support from top luxury brands & products. The Leading Hotels of The World in particular has been committed since the launch of the show. As a result, LHW has delivered 10 unique members who will be presenting at Blossom Japan 2011 such as Halekulani, Hotel Le Bristol, Sun International, Shanti Maurice A Nira Resort, GHM Luxury Hotels, Fancourt, Capella Singapore and Hotel de Crillon to name a few.

Blossom Japan promises to deliver the highest quality of buyers from Asia-Pacific, Australia, USA, Middle East and most importantly Japanese buyers are awoken from traditional sales calls to this new concept of doing business; are also yearning to meet with luxury brands and products present at Blossom Japan.

As an entirely new event, Blossom Japan is set to provide a comprehensive overview of the Japanese market and the many opportunities in which to extend your range of contacts and cultivate existing connections.

As the sun rises on this amazingly cultured country with tradition set deep over thousands of years, it is appropriate and timely for Japan to kick off the New Year with Blossom Japan as the new trade fair for Luxury Travel and anticipate the future events to be absolute “must” for your diary in the future.
