A new trade show for events professionals opened its doors recently. Virtual Event World, which will run for 10 months, enables events professionals from across the globe to network, source suppliers and engage in live seminars and educational events from the comfort of their own desks.

Commenting on the launch, show director, Neil Fagg, said: “Virtual Event World is the platform upon which beautiful and long-lasting relationships can begin, and we want the global events industry to come together under one ‘virtual’ roof to share best practice, creativity and connect.

“I hope that events professionals, globally, will realise the great benefits that Virtual Event World offers – no costly travel expenses, expensive hotel accommodation, long and tedious stand builds and time away from the office.”

Virtual Event World is partnering with events suppliers association ESSA, Live Event Expo, Planet Positive, the Association of Events Venues and corporate hospitality show RSVP 2011, each of which has a presence within the virtual environment.
