Bitbuzz Wi-Fi network expands reach in Holiday Inn Express hotels

Bitbuzz, a leading supplier of Wi-Fi to the hospitality industry, is now operating in Holiday Inn Express hotels throughout the UK. Bitbuzz was selected as the supplier of choice in a number of Holiday Inn Express hotels after the company successfully met the unique changing Wi-Fi requirements needed across many of the chain’s hotels. The locations include Croydon, Walsall, Leicester, Harlow, Folkstone, Tamworth, Doncaster, Strathclyde and London Park Royal.

Each hotel boasts a tailor-made Wi-Fi model developed to meet its particular brand requirements. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is now available in all public areas and bedrooms. The Bitbuzz service can be tailored depending on the requirements of each hotel, and this is true for individual hotels as well as those operating under a bigger brand.

Hotel guests are now using the internet as their primary work and entertainment channel. Russell McQuillan, Business Development Director of Bitbuzz said: “Wi-Fi streaming has effectively replaced in-room TV as the way people spend their downtime in hotel rooms, BBC iPlayer, Netflix, YouTube and Sky Go now account for a very significant portion of our hotel traffic. We are delighted to provide Wi-Fi that caters for the ever-changing habits of guests throughout the Holiday Inn Express estate.”

Bitbuzz ensures the Wi-Fi service is available at the hotel bed, as guests primarily like to sit in bed to watch content, and ensures that the hotel has a significant broadband capacity to deal with these new and evolving services.

Szilvia Kiss, manager of Holiday Inn Express Tamworth said: “We strive to provide our guests with high standards throughout our hotel, and Bitbuzz provide Wi-Fi that caters to their business and entertainment needs. We’re delighted to be able to offer such an excellent Wi-Fi service in all common areas and bedrooms.”
