Not only will guests be invited to enjoy the lunch buffet, they will also be given a sneak peak to the hidden secrets of the restaurant’s kitchen. The Hotel’s Director of Food and Beverage Adrian Messerli explains: “On Easter Sunday we gave our guests the chance to explore what goes on behind-the-scenes at our restaurant. The feedback was so positive that we have decided to offer this unique experience on a more regular basis.”
During selected Sunday buffets, in addition to restaurant’s usual suggestions, upon visiting the kitchen guests will be able to order their dish of choice, watch while it’s being prepared, meet the chefs and even trade tips and recipes with them.
The buffet at Varanda is offered daily from 12:30 to 3:00 pm. The next “Backstage” Buffet will take place on May 15, 2011 and will be offered the usual price of EUR 57.00 per person. Reservations recommended.
