Avis UK launches domestic ‘Get-Home’ product

Leading car rental company Avis UK has today launched a domestic ‘Get Home’ product to assist travellers whose journeys have been disrupted by the volcanic ash cloud. Avis understands the huge pressure that has been placed on travellers making their way back to the UK and has launched this new product to offer them the most convenient and cost effective journey possible.

Through the new ‘Get Home’ product, Avis UK will offer customers a fixed rate of £76 including all one way fees, waiving the standard £40 vehicle return and transporter fee.[1]  The fixed rate is valid for a two day* one way rental[2] and is available at all UK mainland locations. The programme is available until Sunday 25th April, when it will be reviewed depending on the situation.

Breakdown of services offered through the Avis ‘Get Home’ product:

·      Fixed rate of £76 including all one way fees
·      Valid for a two day rental
·      Available at all UK mainland locations and can be returned to any UK mainland location
·      Available from today until Sunday the 25th of April
