Avis Car Rental has announced a new multi-year partnership with Privilege Club, the frequent flyer programme of Qatar Airways.

The deal means Privilege Club members can earn from 500 Qmiles up to 800 Qmiles, for every rental booked.

Privilege Club members can then redeem their Qmiles against a selection of benefits, including complimentary flights, upgrades and excess baggage on Qatar Airways flights, together with purchases made at Qatar Duty Free located at Hamad International Airport in Doha or Oryx Galleria boutique in Doha, Qatar.

Qatar Airways senior manager frequent flyer programme, Rahul Kucheria, said: “We are delighted to partner with Avis Car Rental to offer our Privilege Club members yet another way in which they can earn Qmiles, which can in turn be redeemed against a growing number of benefits, from flights to the latest products on offer from Qatar Duty Free and our dedicated Oryx Galleria boutique in Doha.”

Qmiles can also be redeemed for complimentary flights with oneworld airline partners.

Qmiles earned will be dependent on the customer’s Avis membership tier level.
