Avis Car Rental has announced the signing of a multi-year partnership agreement with the world’s largest international serviced residence owner-operator, Ascott.

Under the new agreement, business and leisure travellers visiting Ascott’s brand websites, Ascott, Citadines and Somerset, will be able to make an Avis reservation by adding a vehicle rental to an existing serviced apartment reservation.

Customers can also make a stand-alone Avis rental within the Ascott website.

“This partnership will enable us to reach guests from the start of their travel-planning process.

“Ascott customers can now benefit from Avis’ world-renowned customer service and quality, well-maintained fleet.”

To celebrate the partnership members of Ascott’s Online Advantage programme, which offers perks and discounts, can receive up to ten per cent off all Avis car rentals at participating locations.

Avis is considered Africa’s Leading Business Car Rental Company by the World Travel Awards.
