Avianca brings Boeing Dreamliner to European routes

Avianca has launched its new Boeing 787-8 aircraft on its routes to and from Europe.

In a first phase, the Boeing 787 will operate some frequencies on the Bogotá-Madrid, Cali-Madrid and Medellín-Madrid routes.

The modern aircraft will progressively replace the Airbus A330 currently operating all routes to and from Barcelona, Madrid and London.

The addition of these new planes to serve passengers on transatlantic routes means Avianca can offer a new experience when flying.

With a capacity for 250 passengers: 28 in Executive Class and 222 in Tourist, the B787 is characterised by its sophisticated design and its progressive technology.

Adjustable lighting in the different phases of flight, more spacious seats, wider aisles and larger bathrooms are just some of the advantages on offer.

The Boeing B787-8 Dreamliner is known for its high operational efficiency and the technological advances of its engines, which allow a range of more than 14,500 flight kilometres.

Likewise, the aerodynamic conditions allow increased strength and flexibility, generating a more pleasant flight experience, even in turbulent conditions.
