Autograph Collection Hotels welcomes threw new properties

Autograph Collection Hotels, Marriott International’s distinctive portfolio of independent hotels, has welcomed three more one-of-a-kind US properties to its portfolio.

Autograph Collection Hotels’ global portfolio consists of 93 hotels worldwide, bringing the brand even closer to welcoming its 100th property.

Launched in 2010, Autograph Collection Hotels is a pioneer in the independent hotel space and has grown both aggressively and selectively from less than five hotels to over 90 in just five years – making it not only Marriott International’s fastest growing brand, but one of the fastest growing hotel brands in the industry.

“We are very pleased to welcome these three exceptional hotels to our rapidly growing portfolio.

“Each property embodies our mission to deliver unique and authentic hotel experiences,” said Julius Robinson, vice president, Autograph Collection Hotels.

“Our diverse, global and ever-growing collection includes many of the world’s top independently owned hotels and resorts, solidifying the brand as an established leader in the independent hotel space.”

The Envoy in Boston, MA, a newly constructed property located in the city’s Innovation District, is among the properties to have joined.

The hotel’s 136 rooms are carefully designed with handcrafted, artisan-style décor and feature reclaimed wood throughout along with expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows framing unparalleled waterfront and city views.

Tech-forward amenities include a collaborative work area featuring a classic billiards table reimagined into six interactive computer touch-screens.

The Envoy’s communal atmosphere extends to its 4,000 square-foot Lookout Rooftop Bar, which boasts spectacular waterfront views and seasonal cocktails and local beers, including a house brew created especially for the property by Boston’s Harpoon Brewery.

Located in the affluent Mountain Brook suburb of Birmingham, Alabama, Grand Bohemian Hotel Mountain Brook has also signed up.

A 100-room boutique hotel, it has a touch of bohemian inspiration and artistic offerings.

At the heart of the hotel is an on-site Grand Bohemian Art Gallery.

Designed to inspire the collector in each guest, the hotel’s gallery showcases stunning works of art, exhibitions and art receptions by local, regional and internationally recognized artists including Georgian glass artist, Licha Ochoa, and French expressionist, Jean Claude Roy.

Finally, The Citizen occupies Sacramento, CA’s historic California Life Insurance Building, the city’s first skyscraper built in 1925.

The property’s design and guest experience pay homage to the building’s rich history offering guests a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

No two guest rooms are alike and each offers a different view of downtown Sacramento.

The hotel’s seasonal restaurant, Grange Restaurant and Bar incorporates fresh, local ingredients from nearby Central California farms such as Capay Organics, Del Rio Botanical and Full Belly Farms.

With 9,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 3,000 square-foot tented roof deck with city views, the hotel is an ideal venue for meetings, wedding and special events.
