Antigua & Barbuda Tourism Authority launches new advertising campaign

The Antigua & Barbuda Tourism Authority has launched an advertising campaign, in conjunction with 19 hotels and 19 tour operators, to promote ease of access and affordability to the twin-island destination.

The campaign runs over two of the biggest sporting events of the year for the island - the end of West Indies vs. England cricket Test and the inaugural Antigua Sailing Week from April 25th-May 1st.

With a flight time of just over 7.5 hours, access to Antigua is not that dissimilar to Egypt or Dubai and can be cheaper than some European destinations in the summer.

Jean-Marc Flambert, vice president sales and marketing UK & Europe, said: “We started with ten tour operator partners and now this has doubled.

“Some are partnering on the landing page for the online element, and some on press adverts.

“Tour operators involved in the online element are also promoting to their database of customers, so the campaign has grown and will now exceed the 11 million targeted impressions and jump to 14 million at least.

“We are really excited about this promotion and thankful to our hotels and the tour operators who have put so much effort and money into promoting Antigua & Barbuda.”
