Allianz Global extends deal with easyJet in Europe

Allianz Global Assistance in the UK continues to strengthen its partnership with easyJet, Europe’s leading low cost airline, as it secures a three-year contract renewal.

Under the new pan-European agreement, Allianz Global Assistance will continue delivering single and annual multi-trip insurance, as well as missed-flight cover.

This renewal confirms Allianz Global Assistance’s expertise in the international travel insurance market, supporting its clients in delivering an enhanced level of customer service.

Lee Taylor, chief sales officer at Allianz Global Assistance UK, said: “We will continue working closely with easyJet to deliver a range of innovative insurance products, designed to offer travellers a new level of convenience and cover they can trust.

“This contract renewal builds on our 12-year relationship with easyJet, boosting brand awareness and giving holidaymakers easy access to quality cover.”

This year marks a significant milestone for easyJet, reaching 60 million passengers and increasing the number of people flying with the service by 7.1 per cent.

The business also achieved a profit increase of 21.3 per cent.
