Alamo’s new ‘SaveTime’ pre-rental registration service gets international customers on the road fast

Alamo Rent A Car, the largest car rental provider for international travelers visiting North America, announced its SaveTime service today at the U.S. Travel Association’s 2010 International Pow Wow show.

SaveTime – a pre-rental registration service for Alamo customers traveling into the U.S. and Canada – is accessible through www.alamo.co.uk. To use the SaveTime service, customers just follow three easy steps:

·      Input reservation number and surname
·      Input license details and personal information
·      Complete booking, including any options (to be paid during check-in at the airport)

Alamo is a recognized technology innovator, with more than 159 self-service kiosks at 65 U.S. locations, which earned it the “Extra Mile Award” from Budget Travel magazine in 2007. “Alamo pioneered ways to save customers time during the car rental process with our kiosk system,” said Phil Eaton, Vice President of International Sales and Marketing at Alamo. “Our new SaveTime service provides another way to shorten the time it takes to rent a car so our customers can quickly get on with their trip.”
