Airberlin is hosting an official ceremony at Berlin-Tegel Airport to celebrate the German premiere of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, together with the aircraft’s manufacturer Boeing and Berlin Airports.

Guests from the worlds of politics, business and the media are invited to this event. Following the ceremony, airberlin employees will also be able to see this long-haul aircraft for themselves.

The Boeing test airplane is referred to as ZA001 and is the first 787 built. It arrived at Berlin-Tegel Airport in the morning. The visitor viewing area in the airport building was open to the public and provided an excellent view of the new Dreamliner.

airberlin will be the first customer in Germany to receive a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
