As part of airberlin’s membership of oneworld, which is planned to come into force on 20th March 2012, Germany’s second largest airline and fellow alliance member Japan Airlines (JAL) have signed a codeshare agreement. Japan Airlines will offer a total of six airberlin flights a week between Frankfurt and Berlin under JAL flight numbers. Tickets are now available for JAL passengers to book for flights from 12th February.

Japan Airlines is one of Asia’s leading airline with a fleet of some 210 aircraft including Boeing 777s, 767s and 737s.
