airBaltic to recruit crew in Estonia

The Latvia-based airline airBaltic is hosting an “open door” initiative in Estonia today for young professionals seeking to become part of the carrier’s development under Horizon 2021 business plan.

Daiga Ergle, senior vice president human resources at airBaltic, said: “airBaltic has started a very exciting year - we have at least 12 new destinations on our route map for better connectivity in the whole Baltic region, we introduce the world’s most modern aircraft Bombardier CS300, and serve a growing family of customers.

“Naturally, we want new talent to join this unprecedented and unique development.”

The “open door” initiative will first target young professionals willing to join the team of airBaltic’s award-winning cabin crew.

The project does not require candidates to fill out an application form before the visit, but simply take their CV, personal identification document and arrive for the selection process.

airBaltic has strengthened its position in Estonia by offering direct flights out of Tallinn to Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Amsterdam, Riga and Vilnius.

As a part of its Horizon 2021 plan, airBaltic will operate 11 direct routes out of Tallinn and Vilnius in the next five years, in combination with convenient transfers via Riga.

airBaltic serves over 60 destinations from its home base in Riga, Latvia.

From every one of these locations, airBaltic offers convenient connections via Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, CIS and the Middle East. In addition, airBaltic also offers direct flights from Tallinn and Vilnius.
