AirAsia increases frequencies for Intra-East Malaysia flights

AirAsia has added frequencies for flights from Kuching – Bintulu, Kota Kinabalu – Tawau and from Kota Kinabalu – Johor Bahru.

Flights from Kuching – Bintulu are now available 2x daily, increased from once a day; while Kota Kinabalu – Tawau flights are now 25x weekly instead from 17x weekly; while those connecting from Kota Kinabalu – Johor Bahru can opt for a new flight timing everyday with an additional daily flight, making it 3x daily.

All the additional frequencies for all three routes will commence operations on 15th November 2013 onwards, and are now available for booking online at www.airasia.com with all-in-fares from as low as RM69 one way.

Guests can also book these additional frequencies at everyday low-fares via iPhone, Android devices, Blackberry10, as well as its mobile site mobile.airasia.com. The mobile applications on iPhone and Android platforms are now updated with the ‘Manage My Booking’ feature as well, where guests can view all their bookings, check-in for flights, as well as manage add-ons such as meals, seat selection, check-in baggage and sports equipment allocation, purchase travel insurance and more.

AirAsia guests are also encouraged to pre-book their check-in baggage allocation online as they will be able to save up to 66% as compared to checking-in their bags over the airport counter. Other value-added products and services which guests can opt for when booking their seats include hot meals on board, seat selection, travel insurance, comfort kit purchase and sports equipment check-in allocation.
