AirAsia has confirmed it will introduce additional flights from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan.

Following the changes the low-cost carrier will offer 14 flights a day from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu with a further three departures heading for Sandakan.

Both increases will come into effect on February 6th.

The airline is also enhancing connectivity from Kota Kinabalu to Hong Kong, increasing services from seven to ten per week.

AirAsia regional head of commercial, Kathleen Tan, said: “With these additional flight frequencies, our guests can look forward to added convenience and the liberty to pick the best flight times for their travels, as there are now more options on flight times available for these destinations.
