Air Mauritius, Air Austral and Air Madagascar announce working cooperation

A Press Conference in La Reunion was the forum for President Didier Robert of La Reunion to announce in the Presence of Minister Michael Sik Yuen of Mauritius and Mrs Vola Raveloson of the Madagascar Tourism Authority the recent agreement of these three Indian Ocean Airline Companies to cooperate in their services.

President Robert told the gathered press that it was needed for airlines of the region to work together. The new agreements they are now putting into execution follows the discussions at Routes Africa held in Seychelles in July and will help consolidate the services provided by each of the airlines from these Indian Ocean Islands.

Beijing and Shanghai are for instant services being earmarked for direct air services by one or more of these air lines with the support of each other. India is also being looked at as well as more services between the islands themselves.

This announcement was received by the gathered press as a positive step in regional partnership.
