Air Europa takes off in 2010

Latin American specialist, Air Europa, announces the expansion of their London-based customer service team following a move to new premises this month.

The leading Spanish airline’s new central London base is, rather fittingly, shared with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce.

The growth marks a positive start to the year for Air Europa, who launched their twice daily ‘gateway to South America’ route, London to Madrid, in March 2009.

“It’s great to start the year in such a positive manner,” says Colin Stewart, UK General Manager, Air Europa. “The new additions to the team will help strengthen our core values and focus on the highest level of customer service, something Air Europa prides itself on.”

“We finished 2009 on a high and the new office has been great for staff morale. The expansion is indicative of Air Europa’s growth within the marketplace.”

The successful 2009 summer and winter schedules, including destinations like Havana, Buenos Aires and Salvador De Bahia, has meant Air Europa has remained strong during what has been a tough time for the aviation industry.

The airline also offers competitive fares to Caracas, Santa Domingo, Punta Cana and Cancun, all reached via a short stopover in Madrid.
