Agents urged to ‘Pack More’ into cruise bookings by Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean International has launched a new campaign for autumn encouraging agents and holidaymakers to ‘Pack More into Your Holiday’.

The £1 million campaign featuring advertising across TV and radio, national newspapers, women’s magazines, online and trade, celebrates the huge range of activities and experiences available within a Royal Caribbean International cruise holiday.

Jo Rzymowska, associate vice president and general manager, Royal Caribbean International, UK and Ireland, explained:

“Here at Royal Caribbean International we’re really proud that the cruise holiday experience onboard one of our ships is a million miles away from the traditional image of cruising, and more action-packed than most land resorts. The new ‘Pack More into Your Holiday’ campaign is designed to make agents reappraise their idea of who might choose a cruise, and encourage them to sell more holidays at sea.”

Royal Caribbean International is supporting the new ‘Pack More into Your Holiday’ campaign with a dedicated agent incentive – agents simply need to book and confirm a 2011 or 2012 cruise between now and 26 August 2011 to be in with a chance to win a place on a VIP fam trip to Dubai in December 2011.


The incentive, in association with Dubai Tourism will include a day onboard the Royal Caribbean International ship Brilliance of the Seas, a thrilling desert experience, a tour of Dubai and its latest attractions and accommodation in one of Dubai’s leading hotels.  Based in Dubai during winter 2011-12, Brilliance of the Seas is offering cruises throughout the Middle East and India. There are 20 agent places up for grabs on the exclusive Dubai fam trip.

As part of the campaign agents are receiving marketing materials to aid their sales and promotion of Royal Caribbean International including branded point of sale, bunting, badges, balloons, flyers and desk cards.

Plus, the ‘Pack More into Your Holiday’ also carries great offers and deals for agents to aid the selling process of a cruise:

·      Seven-night Western Caribbean fly-cruises in January 2012 for under £1,000 onboard Navigator of the Seas

·      Less than £72 per night for a 14-night Mediterranean Treasures cruise onboard Independence of the Seas from Southampton in May 2012

·      Regional flights for £99 to join an 11-night Spain and Canaries cruise onboard Independence of the Seas from Southampton – cruise prices start from £799 per person

·      Summer sunshine in the July and August school summer holidays in 2012 onboard Grandeur of the Seas sailing from Palma de Mallorca on a seven-night Western Mediterranean cruise from just £835 for a fly-cruise

All bookings made before 30 September 2011 on selected European and Dubai cruises for travel in 2011 and 2012 also receive an additional $100 onboard spend for the guest.
