Luxury packages for the Formula One Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi – scheduled for November 13th – are attracting prices of up to $12,000 per person as expectation mounts.
According to the latest information from Etihad-owned tour operator Hala Abu Dhabi, packages including stays as the YAS Hotel, which bridges the track, are selling fast.
For the price guest will get a four-night stay in the hotel, a limo pick up at the airport, a three-day “Paddock Club” ticket and access to the post-race Amber Lounge Party, according to Etihad Airways.
However, the packages do not include flights.
For those looking to stay in neighbouring Dubai, four nights at the Burj Al Arab – recognised as the Middle East’s Leading Hotel by the World Travel Awards - are available for $13,500.
The Formula One Grand Prix sells about 50,000 tickets each year and is the biggest event on the calendar for the capital.
