City Cruises has been working with the Olympic Delivery Authority to deliver a river cruise to the Equestrian events held at Greenwich Park and launched a booking page.

An average 6,000 daily additional river passenger trips are expected to be made by spectators travelling to and from competition venues in the Borough of Greenwich.

City Cruises, in conjunction with Thames River Services, have extended their services for the duration of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in order to provide spectators with a frequent*1 and coordinated service.

London 2012 spectators travelling with City Cruises downstream to Greenwich Pier can choose to embark at Westminster, London Eye (Waterloo) or Tower piers. 

The frequent service will enable passengers to see London’s famous sights along the River Thames, whilst enjoying a leisurely cruise*2 onboard modern boats with panoramic windows and open deck areas, which offer access to the mobility impaired. Light refreshments and bar services are available to purchase during the cruise.
