In the town of Haskovo it is a must to visit the International Violin Competition and Music Days “Prof. Nedyalka Simeonova” in October. They bear the name of the famous Bulgarian violinist, born more than 100 years. The virtuosic musician left lasting traces in the Bulgarian and world music. Within the annual music festival on the stage of the Haskovo Theatre “Ivan Dimov” parallel with concert performances of popular Bulgarian orchestras and their salts, a Competition for Young Violinists, established as a prestigious international event is organised.
