La Cigale Tabarka Hotel, Thalasso, Spa, & Golf Resort has welcomed the most prestigious guests to its grand Opening Ceremony.

The property, which opened in late August, is new refurbished, having previously operated under the title of Tabarka Beach Hotel.

The event was hosted along the sublime circled infinity pool, with La Cigale Tabarka Hotel welcoming numerous famous Arab singers to entertain an audience of 450 VIP invitees.

The ceremony was preceded by a press conference to present the new property features and dispositions.

That ceremony was attended by the Tunisia minister of tourism Amel Karboul; governor of Jendouba Nejib Kbouhi; Qatari ambassador in Tunisia Abdullah Nasser Al-Homidi; founder and president of World Travel Awards Graham Cooke; hotel owner Victor Agha; and La Cigale Tabarka Hotel general manager Lotfi Mosbahi.

The hotel closed its doors in mid-2012 to undergo a significant refurbishment programme under the guide of renowned architect Fakher Turki.

The programme was designed to come up with a refined look for the public areas and restaurants of the hotel. This was revealed during the ceremony.

A new beautifully appointed lobby and numerous dining outlets showcasing an innovative and gastronomic cuisine were showcased, while and exalted swimming pools overlooking the beach front with also revealed.

La Cigale Tabarka is a fusion between a modern style and an oriental flair.

The property offers an outstanding treat with its spacious accommodations, with 248 rooms and suits designed to delight guests.

These will be fully renovated by the end of next year in order to meet the up-scaled hotel’s new standards.

To complete its development, the hotel will provide different ranges of services, for all kind of tastes and needs through the restaurants, bars, gym, meeting rooms, outdoor pools, kids playground, football courts, golf course and a majestic Thalasso centre.

All the dining outlets are operating within the hotel, with the Thalasso centre projected to open by December.
