FORMIA, the international guest amenity and hospitality specialist, today announces that it has begun supplying Cathay Pacific Airlines -the “World’s Best Airline” according to the 2014 international Skytrax ranking- with specially designed amenity wrap bags for the comfort and convenience of the airline’s Business Class passengers.
The deal represents the first time FORMIA has worked with Cathay Pacific and involves the supply of a range of bespoke pouches which are offered in a wide range of different colours for passengers to collect and use in a variety of post-flight applications. FORMIA worked with Seventy Eight Percent, the renowned Asian brand of bags and fashion accessories, to design and create the stylish, durable canvas wrap pouches.
In an innovative move which reflects Cathay Pacific’s position at the heart of the Asia economy and a promoter of all the region has to offer, each pouch contains a value added opportunity for the passenger to purchase further items from Seventy Eight Percent stores post-flight.
Commenting, Roland Grohmann, Managing Director of FORMIA, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be working with Cathay Pacific and to add this great, international carrier to the growing list of airlines we serve. Renowned around the world for its unparalleled levels of service, Cathay Pacific’s new in-flight offerings will delight Business Class passengers with the novelty of their design, the range of colours available and the quality materials used, allowing long-term, post flight use.”
Toby Smith, Cathay Pacific’s General Manager Product, said: “Cathay Pacific is delighted to be working with FORMIA and Seventy Eight Percent to produce its new Business Class amenity kits which will help to deliver a memorable travel experience for our passengers. The understated, considered design embodied by Seventy Eight Percent is closely aligned with our own design principles and we are also delighted to be collaborating with a home grown Hong Kong brand.”
Commenting, Shai Levy, Seventy Eight Percent Founder & CEO, said: “Collaborating with Cathay Pacific and FORMIA, two companies that are at the forefront of their industries, has been a great experience. I cannot think of a better place for our products than the Business Class of the world’s best airline.”
