Corporate sales at Travel Counsellors soar

Corporate travel sales are up significantly at leading independent travel company, Travel Counsellors – by 20% in 2013 so far. This remarkable growth has prompted the company to invest in the marketing tools it provides agents to further grow awareness of the service they offer. The first of which is a short film designed to be shared.

The film was produced by London agency, mcm Creative Group, who have worked with a number of high profile companies including John Lewis. It is underpinned with Travel Counsellors core value of its personal approach to selling travel. The corporate travel film was created for consumer purposes and highlights precisely what makes our Business Travel Counsellors different from other TMC’s, in particular focusing on their ability to exceed expectations and form strong relationships.

Managing Director, Steve Byrne comments “As our sales show, the Travel Counsellors brand is going from strength to strength and people are becoming more familiar with the service we offer. With corporate travel now accounting for 25% of the company’s sales, producing a tool to showcase our services was a top priority. The film aims to raise awareness of the unique service we provide and essentially, how corporate businesses will benefit from booking with a Travel Counsellor. We aim to share the film across all media platforms including social media to maximise exposure.”

Travel Counsellors believes its robust growth in 2013 is down to businesses starting to recognise the advantages of booking with a TMC who regard their travel as an absolute importance. The corporate film features a collection of Travel Counsellors’ clients and showcases the personal relationships that are formed. The film centres on Travel Counsellors approach of always going the extra mile to satisfy their client’s needs.

Business Travel Counsellor Gill Nicholls comments “The new corporate film pinpoints exactly what I can offer a corporate client. Too many traditional TMCs see booking travel as a transactional process and fail to realise the power of building a caring relationship. The film shows the benefits of dealing with someone who has your best interests in mind. The film will prove invaluable when I introduce my services to prospective clients as it shows in two minutes exactly why they should book with a Travel Counsellor.”
