Since 2008, IATA launched Secure Freight, as an industry initiative to provide assistance to states around the world that need to create or enhance air cargo supply chain security programs.

The Secure Freight Forum is an information-sharing mechanism for this targeted audience and will allow SF CAAs to share best practices and seek solutions towards the definite implementation of such programs in their legislation and open dialogue with their counterparts from robust regimes, from which they will be seeking guidance & recognition in the future.
