PATA Travel Mart 2010

The city of Macau is more ready than ever to welcome PTM2010 delegates to experience Macau through the five senses “See Macau, Taste Macau, Touch Macau, Feel Macau and Hear Macau’.

In 2008, the city hosted a record-breaking number of over 22.9 million visitors and the Macau Government is continuing its investment in the development of business tourism and the MICE industry.

Macau’s rich history has created a unique society, with influence from the East and West complementing each other.  Since December 1999, Macau has been a Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China and, like Hong Kong, benefits from the principle of “one country, two systems”.  The tiny SAR is growing in size, with more buildings on reclaimed land and in the number and diversity of its attractions.

Located on the southeast coast of China and bordering on Guangdong Province, Macau SAR is located 60km from Hong Kong and 145km from the city of Guangzhou.
