This year’s MAMA, an event that incorporated two days of B2B workshops, saw over 250 UK suppliers and more than 300 purchasers, from developing and established markets, taking part in over 20,000 one-to-one meetings.

On Day 1, at the Hosted Buyers Marketplace (HBM), VisitBritain brought over 180 operators from more than 20 origin markets including China, Brazil, Russia, US, Germany and elsewhere. On Day 2, at the well-established Britain & Ireland Marketplace (BIM), suppliers from the UK and Republic of Ireland met with established tour operators, wholesalers and online intermediaries.

For 2013, VisitBritain will be bringing over 200 top international buyers from across the 20 markets to the HBM event on day 1.
