Australia’s premier tourism trade event is coming to Perth in 2012.
The Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) is one of the world’s biggest travel trade shows and will take place at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from June 15 to 21, 2012.
ATE provides a forum for Australian tourism businesses to showcase their products, meet overseas contacts and negotiate business deals.
The event is divided into two modules. The Eastern Module allows sellers to meet with buyers from Japan, North Asia, South and South East Asia, the Gulf countries and India. It will take place from June 15 to 17. The Western Module will be held from June 18 to 21 and will involve buyers from the UK, Europe, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
ATE will also give the international travel trade the chance to experience our extraordinary State first hand through the extensive familiarisation (famils) program run by Tourism WA. The program will see hundreds of delegates travel across Western Australia and taking in some of our extraordinary experiences. Tourism WA will also be running a famils program in conjunction with Tourism Australia for international media.
