Expedia, Inc.` s private label service, WWTE, today announced that it has teamed up with Hyatt to provide its private label booking engine and travel inventory to enhance Hyatt Vacations online.

With this announcement, WWTE builds on its success over the past two years delivering high-quality, complementary travel inventory and technology to travel supplier sites.

The WWTE solution has enhanced the popular Hyatt Vacations service, enabling Hyatt customers to book a complete vacation package that combines a flight and/or car rental with their choice of 120 Hyatt hotels and resorts in the continental United States, Hawaii, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Destination services and activities, including restaurant reservations and tickets to theme parks and attractions, are also available.

"At Hyatt, we want to address all of the travel needs of our customers, who can now take advantage of the cost-savings and convenience associated with booking all of their trip components online -- such as flights, car rentals, and events and activities -- on one site," said Joan Lowell, vice president, electronic distribution of Hyatt Hotels Corp. "The new Hyatt Vacations, enhanced by WWTE, now provides increased vacation planning opportunities to our customers."

"Adding a premier hotelier such as Hyatt to the WWTE roster demonstrates the value that we bring to the sites of travel suppliers," said Barney Harford, vice president, new channel development at Expedia, Inc. "We are excited about the opportunity to have our dynamic packaging technology and inventory powering the vacation package offering of such a respected travel brand."
