More than 14,000 virtual tours from 110 cities and countries worldwide.

Online car hire specialist carrentals.co.uk is backing the 2004 Extreme Trifle Reliant Robins Rally, in aid of the Breakthrough breast cancer charity.

The challenge is simple, 10 rather battered, three-wheel Reliant Robins, Regals and Rialtos will depart from London on 3 July, set to cover 4,000 miles in two weeks, passing through 12 countries and two continents, via the Arctic Circle and Europe's highest mountain pass.

Aiming to raise thousands of £s for the charity, the rally includes stops in Copenhagen, Oslo, Narvik, Helsinki and Tallinn, with teams called everything from The Dukes of Hazzard to Bob the Builder, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Lady Penelope's FAB1 - all themed around TV shows.

Doug Scott, director of carrentals.co.uk, said: "The rally is great fun for a very worthwhile cause, and carrentals is delighted to be involved in sponsorship of the event. Driving so far in these three-wheel vehicles will be a big challenge for all the teams taking part, but we are confident they will all perform to their best ability with the equipment they have at hand.

"The route is quite tough, but as with many driving trips the teams are going to pass through some amazing areas and the atmosphere and camaraderie on the rally is second to none. Everyone at carrentals wishes them the best of luck over the coming two weeks." carrentals.co.uk offers discounted prices from major car hire companies such as Hertz and Europcar, all easily booked online. Recent research from "HITWISE", the Internet research and analysis specialist, listed carrentals.co.uk as the seventh most visited car rental website in the UK.

Choose from car hire in over 4,000 destinations around the world, including South Africa, New Zealand, Florida, Ireland, the UK, France, Spain and Greece. The website also features over 3,000 links to useful tourism information sites, plus over 2,700 pages of travel information in a mini-guide format.
